About the Position
Family Service League Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Suicide Prevention and Intervention Specialist to join our C-CAT Program.
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing suicide prevention and postvention services to various audiences across Long Island.
This includes developing and delivering in-person and virtual workshops, as well as conducting in-home and community-based sessions with families who lost a loved one to suicide.
The successful candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with people impacted by trauma.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver in-person and virtual workshops on suicide prevention
- Conduct in-home and community-based sessions with families who lost a loved one to suicide
- Conduct in-home and community-based debriefings with groups impacted by critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed
