SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for the Critical Time Intervention (CTI) program in Mastic, NY. The Program Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the office site, ordering supplies, entering in the EMR, submitting billing, and other general office functions. The Program Assistant will assist in establishing and maintaining a positive, efficient, and safe office environment for clients and staff. The CTI program supports adolescents and adults who have behavioral health needs and who have not been successfully engaged in services during or after critical times in transition. The CTI program promotes community integration, self-advocacy, and access to ongoing support by helping individuals develop and utilize strong ties to their professional and non-professional support systems during and after transition periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Program Assistant will answer phone calls and direct calls.
- Maintain daily operations of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), record keeping, and staff scheduling.
- Perform daily scanning.
- Enter patient information into Electronic Medical Records.
- The Program Assistant will verify and submit billing.
- Order supplies within program budget limitations.
- Schedule and oversee building maintenance, including repairs, cleaning, and safety.
- Maintain operations of office equipment, including phones, copy machines, fax machines, printers and scanners.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally.
- The Program Assistant will attend routine supervision/team meetings.
- Attend and maintain all required trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
At least one year of related clerical and customer service experience, including knowledge of OMH regulations, is required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record systems, are required.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Ability to problem solve, make clear decisions and work independently, as well as part of a team required.
Must be responsive to time deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment is required.
Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 10lbs.
