Behavioral Health Director
Salary: $100,000- $130,000 per annum (Salaried Exempt)
Essential Duties:
- Overall leadership and supervision of all clinical programs and department operations.
- Provides staff supervision, clinical supervision, training and support.
- Develops and implements new programs to further agency mission in alignment with agency strategic goals.
- Ensures quantity and quality of services of department by implementing systems to support and monitor the productivity and impact to fulfill mission and vision.
- Direct service treatment, including diagnostic (intakes), crisis intervention, and on-going treatment.
- Facilitates the consistent implementation of policies and goals set at the Board and Executive Level.
- Participates in agency leadership activities and duties.
- Oversight of all quality assurance activities including but not limited to case reviews.
- In collaboration with FSA’s COO, monitors clinic department fiscal systems (budget, contracts,)
- Involvement of clinical services monitoring and management of unit of service production and targets to fully maximize the utilization of all contracts.
- Ensures that all staff maintain current Board of Behavioral Sciences registration and remain clear and in good standing with Board of Behavioral Sciences as required. Keeps abreast of all regulatory and legal changes and implements as applicable.
- Community outreach, presentations, representation and stakeholder meetings.
- Cross-department collaboration and innovative problem solving.
- Ability to work select evenings to meet the needs of families.
- Twenty-four-hour telephone crisis consultation availability
- Punctual and regular attendance
- Other duties as assigned and necessary.
Report to: Chief Operating Officer
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess all BBS requirements for Clinical Supervision preferred.
Minimum three years of management/supervisory experience
Background Fingerprint Clearance
TB Test Clearance
Drug Test Clearance
Current and Clean DMV print out report.
The ability to read and write English and to communicate at the level required for successful job
performance.
Licenses & Certifications:
Masters in social work or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred
Current California Driver’s License and current Automobile Insurance
Physical & Mental Demands:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under highly demanding deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to travel.
Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on computer.
