What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Director (Very Part-time) position at Family Services Association?
We are searching for a Medical Director who can provide guidance, leadership, oversight, and quality assurance to the LTSS Community Partners program in a very part time capacity (3.5 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.

- Collaborate with the Vice President of Care Coordination, Director of Care Coordination, Director and, Clinical Directors of LTSS Community Partners program, and / or Registered Nurses and Clinical Care Coordinators regarding the delivery and assessment of the service provision for the program.
- Responsible for maintaining and, when necessary, establishing medical policies and procedures, and for providing guidance and / or consultation to staff in the LTSS Community Partners program, including Registered Nurses.
- Assist with strengthening FSA’s relationship with Managed Care and Accountable Care Organizations, including hospitals and physicians.
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and / or other consultations as warranted.
- Participate in LTSS Community Partners utilization review and / or quality assurance activity, including the Quality Management Committee, and review of Critical Incidents on a quarterly basis.
- Participate in the education and training of clinical staff as needed.
Education and Experience:
Board Certified or Board-eligible Physician with a relevant specialty (i.e. Psychiatry, Addiction, or Internal Medicine).
