The Healthy Families program of Family Services is a comprehensive and intensive home visitation program that has a full-time opening for a Family Support Specialist in our Green Bay office. The Family Support Specialist establishes a trusting relationship with overburdened families by delivering service that is culturally competent, strength-based, family centered, and family directed.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum experience of two years or less in field of early childhood education, maternal-child health, family life education, home visitation, social work, or related human service field. Two or more years of experience in home visitation is preferred. This position requires the ability to assimilate and conceptualize individual client desires and needs into detailed written case plans. These duties require advanced interpersonal skills and knowledge of programs and community resources. A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle, auto insurance and an acceptable driving record and the ability to manage a flexible schedule to meet client needs, which may include evenings, are also required. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are preferred.
