We're Hiring!

We are seeking a Senior Unit Lead to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups, providing case management services, and participating in other related activities of the Day Treatment Program. Senior Unit Lead may provide orientation training to new employees and interns upon beginning in the program or as needed for them to understand the basic job duties within the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and facilitate treatment-related group sessions with any or all of the units within the Day Treatment program.
  • Provide behavioral support assistance in the way of structured breaks and one-on-one processing to support clients within the program.
  • Assist staff during crisis situations to promote safety and positive behavior support needs.
  • Meet with potential clients and families to complete a Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment of the youth / family functioning and set treatment goals. Assist with diagnosing identified client in consultation with the Program Manager / Clinical Coordinator.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Required : Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred : Master's degree in social work or related field, CPR / First Aid / NARCAN training and some form of crisis prevention and / or restraint training
  • Experience :

  • Required : 3 years working with youth and families in a behavioral or mental health setting
  • Preferred : Experience with case management, group facilitation, insurance authorizations, and developing / executing training initiatives
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Knowledge of family dynamics, abuse, neglect, criminality and social dysfunction.
  • Experience with client services which embrace family support concepts and demonstrates attitude that is accepting, non-judgmental and culturally competent.
  • Respect for families of diverse socio-economic status, race, ethnicity and ability to engage them in dialogue regarding personal issues.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable personal vehicle. Maintain required auto insurance and acceptable driving record requirements
