Duties & Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Resident Advocate is to assist residents in obtaining shelter services and resources.
Job Description: Great communication skills, Good interpersonal, Organizational skills and Professional at all times.
· This position will answer hotline crisis intervention calls, document calls and complete intakes accurately and refer to outside agencies when necessary.
· Give accurate reports to incoming staff.
· Maintain communication, with staff regarding the facility operation and client.
· Provide security checks and safety rounds throughout the shift.
· Assist with maintaining the facility and client area up keep.
· Arranging house meeting as needed.
Direct care or shelter experience preferred.
Full time Schedule: Monday-Friday
