What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at FAMILY SOLUTIONS?
The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical oversight to non-RTC programs including, but not limited to: Community-based programs, Day Treatment, School-Based Services, and Outpatients Services to ensure a high level of clinical quality and adherence to Oregon Administration Rule, Medicaid, contracts, grants and licensing rules and requirements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Systems Director to develop and implement evidence-based and best practices.
- Provides strategic input and recommendations to Executive Director regarding new programs, community need, budgets and long-range strategic plans.
- Maintains, reviews and updates/revises comprehensive program documentation. This includes clinical forms and program policies and procedures.
- Develop and conduct clinical trainings for staff.
- Formulate strategic plans for clinical departments that ensure quality clinical practice and staffing.
- Be available to provide clinical supervision as stipulated by regulatory agencies and to fulfill licensing requirements of clinical staff.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure quality services for clients and accountability for staff.
- Work with the Quality Systems Director to provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the clinical programs to ensure clinical needs, agency standards, and funding requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the Quality Systems Director to implement strategic modifications to clinical programs subject to a review and trending analysis of clinical outcome data and client satisfaction surveys.
- Monitor clinical trends and make informed decisions regarding service provisions.
- Assist administrative staff in budget development and implementation.
- Work with Quality Systems Director in providing managerial oversight of clinical team meetings and be available to attend on an as-needed basis to provide consultation and/or clinical guidance.
- Work closely with the advocacy groups and community partners to address clinical needs within the community and to coordinate the provisions of services.
- Develop and conduct community presentations as need for educational, program development and funding purposes.
- Promote agency standards, culture, and integrity when participating in community meetings and participating in committees.
