Job Overview:
Have you ever wanted to make a difference for someone needing help with ADLs (activities of daily living)? We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's health status.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Support patients with activities of daily living.
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship for those clients that may need it.
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not needed.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with senior care and working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records while using an app to clock in and out.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Knowledge of different languages could include Hindi, English, Spanish, Chinese, Asian, Indian, Koren, and French.
- Knowledgable of seizures, sign language, and mental change, especially with the DODD (Department of Development Disabilities), may include adults or children.
