The mission of Family Support Services is to be the leader in providing safety, stability, and quality of life for all children by working with the community to strengthen the family unit.
Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Kinship licensing department, including data tracking, referrals, scanning/faxing. Coordinates meetings and calendars as needed. May assist with front end customer service contact, obtaining and providing support to families and other partners.
Essential Duties:
- Provide friendly and caring customer contact when contacted with inquiry or service requests. Capture and record all requests accurately and route requests to appropriate personnel within the licensing team.
- Support other personnel in the process of licensing and relicensing of family foster homes and in completion of administrative duties. Track due dates and other data elements, assist in completion of forms, and coordinate meetings/calendars as needed. Assist with collection, tracking, distribution, and follow up on forms as requested.
- Type general correspondence, responses to inquiries, reports, contracts/agreements, and memoranda. Copy and distribute as needed.
- Operates office machines to include telephone, word processor, computer and printer, facsimile machine, photocopier, calculator, etc. to assist team with scanning, filing, storing, and referral completion.
- Other Duties As needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Experience:
Two or more years of experience in a clerical, data management or related field. Prior experience in social services preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
Valid drivers license.

Other Requirements:
- Clear a Level II background screening.
- Clear a reference check.
- Clear a local background check from the County in which you reside.
