What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Specialist (ICS) position at Family Tree Homes, ICS?
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to spend time with vulnerable adults at their Big Lake home and out in the community, taking them to local outings/activities & running errands. Providing companionship and assistance at home. ICS (Integrated Community Services) is an important role in bettering the lives of our clients and assuring they can be/stay as independent as possible, through support and knowledge of our staff.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
Experience caring for others preferred, but will train
Anticipated timing is April and we are looking for mostly mid afternoon-evening during the week and during the day/eve on weekends. Full-Time or Shifts will be available.
Summary
- Provide support and knowledge Implement care plans that address the specific needs Monitor and document vital signs and changes in residents' health conditions. Provide patient observation to ensure safety and well-being at all times. Facilitate social interactions and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Uphold resident rights by maintaining confidentiality and respecting personal space.
Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiver role or similar position is preferred. Familiarity with care plans, patient monitoring, and vital signs is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. A compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
