About the Family Tree Program

About the Family Therapist Positions: There are currently two Family Therapist Positions available. Primary duties will include providing individual youth and family counseling to clients enrolled in the Family Tree Program. You will also work with fellow staff and assist in other aspects of service delivery, including, but not limited to outreach to the community, data entry in the State system, and creating/engaging in presentations to the community on various mental health topics.
You may provide some other non-clinical direct services, such as youth/parent psychoeducational groups. This is a roaming position and you may be working in any of our three offices (Denton, Farmers Branch, or Lewisville) or from a satellite office. Initially, your anchor location will be in our Farmers Branch office or our Denton office.
Requires a master’s degree, license, one year experience with at-risk youth and family therapy experience. Applicants with the ability to counsel in Spanish and English will receive additional consideration.
This is an ideal position for someone who has completed their masters and is building hours toward full licensure (LPC Associate). Clinical Supervision toward full licensure is available.
An ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, a good communicator, detailed, technologically savvy, and low maintenance.
This position requires up to 20 hours of after school, evenings or weekends to match the schedules of our targeted clients.
What we offer: We provide medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holidays and sick time, a consistent salary, the opportunity for free clinical supervision for LPC-Associates, and hands on learning about marketing and the business side of counseling.
