Job Title: Infant Teacher

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Teacher to join our team at Family Worship Center Preschool & Daycare. In this role, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants to thrive. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Duties:

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate care for infants.
• Create a secure and inclusive environment that supports the growth and development of each child.
• Provide personalized attention and care to meet the individual needs of every infant.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with infants, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Encourage the development of social skills, self-esteem, and positive behaviors in a nurturing manner.
• Plan and organize activities that promote physical, intellectual, and emotional growth in infants.
• Regularly monitor and assess infants' progress, providing feedback and updates to parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and any incidents.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting is required.
• Strong understanding of infant development and early childhood education principles.
• Familiarity with best practices in infant care, including feeding, diapering, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with parents and staff.
• Experience with creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum for infants.
• Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and regulations.
• A background in special education or literacy education is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
