Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers throughout their time at camp. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have experience in childcare or related fields.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers in various activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games.
- Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Provide first aid as needed and ensure the safety of all campers.
- Assist in planning and leading daily camp activities that promote teamwork and personal growth.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages campers to express themselves and develop new skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers to ensure a cohesive camp experience.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to early childhood education and childcare.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in daycare, camp settings, or similar environments is preferred.
- Skills in behavior management and conflict resolution are highly valued.
- Background in sports coaching or theater is a plus.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is beneficial but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- A strong commitment to fostering a Christian environment is appreciated.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for early childhood education or related fields is desirable.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
