Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Community Engagement Coordinator at FAMILY YMCA AT TARRYTOWN. The Coordinator will assist in organizing and planning community events, engaging with community members, and facilitating outreach activities. This role will be based in Tarrytown, NY, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Community Engagement and Community Organizing skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Event Planning and Community Outreach experience
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work both on-site and remotely
- Previous experience working in a community-focused role
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Social Work, Public Health, or Community Development.
- Some evenings and weekend work.
- Approximately 20 hours per week.
Salary : $28 - $30
