What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Family & Youth Counseling Agency, Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Programs Coordinator is charged with providing services to victims of crime through assigned adjunct services. Adjunct services may include equine facilitated services, expressive arts facilitated services, child abuse prevention services and other initiatives as assigned. Direct work of the Programs Coordinator may include intakes, case management/follow up, guidance and education, case closures, reporting and data collection, communications with area service provider, case review coordination, resource development, outreach/community education and more and in accordance with the mission and policies of the agency.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in human/social services field from accredited university required.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong desire to work in the human service field.
- Ability to clearly communicate mission and purpose of initiatives and services to clients.
- Knowledge of community services and public relations desired.
- Integrity, honesty, and professionalism, with desire to be a team player.
Job Type: Full-time
