FamilyCare is looking for a Clinical Manager who will be based at our Patrick Street location but will also travel to other sites within the Central Region.

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (four years of additional nursing experience can substitute for RN requirement)
- Five years of experience providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
- Three years of management experience
- Strong analytic skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Outstanding written communication, verbal communication, and computer skills
Certificate/ License:
- Maintains a valid, unencumbered WV nursing license (RN, LPN)
- Has access to an insured vehicle for use to perform duties
- Maintains a valid, unencumbered driver's license throughout employment
Basic Functions: The clinical manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical support services to ensure the delivery of adequate and competent patient care.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directs and oversees clinical departments in their assigned district
- Direct reports include: LPN/MA Supervisors, LPNs, MAs and other medical support staff
- Conducts performance evaluations of direct reports
- Manages discipline of clinical department staff in accordance with company policy
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical operations of assigned health centers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure all clinical QA indicators are being followed and reported.
- Perform chart audits and report findings to staff as needed.
- Manage clinical operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Scheduling and assigning nursing and staff as well as following up on work results.
- Analyze monthly reports and make recommendations for process change/improvement.
- Ensure labs/reports are received, entered into the computer and routed appropriately via the EHR.
- Mentor and assist team leaders and nursing supervisors.
- Maintains and monitors inventory of vaccines both private and through the VFC program as well as completes all reporting requirements on a timely and accurate basis.
- Maintains medical supply inventory by anticipating and ordering needed supplies.
- Consults with clinical team leader concerning medical problems.
- Coordinates relief coverage according to needs of the clinical areas.
- Assist with emergency and crisis support for patients.
- Oversee program management including Family Planning, BCCSP, Vaccines for Children, 340B Program, Medical Slide/CAP, OSHA Compliance and Care Management.
- Coordinate monthly staff meetings; topics of discussion and staff development.
- Review and timely resolve patient concerns and complaints.
- Other duties as assigned.
