FamilyCare Health Centers is looking for a Facilities Maintenance TechnicianPhysical Requirements :
The associate is regularly required to talk, hear and read. The position requires constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, stooping and grasping. The associate is required to climb, balance and bend and be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment. The associate must frequently lift, carry or move up to 50 pounds or more.
Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent with basic maintenance knowledge and experience. Highly skilled with various hand and power tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Basic Function :
Responsible for ensuring facilities are maintained properly by scheduling regular maintenance of all facilities. Associate will provide all basic first-line maintenance needs, and then call outside vendor for assistance, if needed. Build and maintain relationships with one service vendor for each service, i.e. electrician, plumber, etc. Maintain a safe working environment while following all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversees building and grounds maintenance at all FamilyCare facilities
- Performs basic repairs and maintenance, including minor electrical and plumbing repair, changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
- Perform or arrange preventative maintenance on the standard recommended frequency, including, but not limited to HVAC, generators, back-flow prevention testing, etc.
- Arrange and oversee professional repairs, as needed
- Build and maintain working relationships for professional service vendors, such as electrician, plumber, HVAC, etc.
- Conduct and document quarterly facility inspections
- Coordinates service or maintenance needs with the local Managers to ensure operations are not impacted
- Complies with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines
- Recommends additional repairs when identified
- Travel to all FamilyCare Health Center locations required.
