Position Summary
The Receptionist provides a critical service to supporting Familylinks. The Receptionist is the first point of contact by greeting visitors and answering and routing incoming telephone calls. Secondary duties include day-to-day support utilizing clerical, secretarial and administrative skills to the various components of Familylinks.

Essential Job Duties
- Answer multi-line phone in a professional and pleasant manner, screen and correctly direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Answer visitor inquiries about Familylinks and provide basic information as to services and programs.
- Greet visitors and notify staff as people arrive for appointments.
- Request and collect co-payments from identified clients in a client sensitive manner if working in a site with outpatient services as applicable.
- Maintain neat and organized appearance of the lobby and Front Desk area.
- Monitor visitor/staff sign-in using the tracking method appropriate to that location.
- Secure office building at end of business day.
- Assist in daily mail, shipping and receiving routines.
- Reserve agency vehicles and calling bridge for staff as applicable.
- Perform clerical duties as requested.
- Monitor parking lots and smoking areas for violations of Familylinks policies.
- Utilize the Front Desk Expectations as a guide for professional duties as applicable.
- Attend all trainings, supervisions and meetings as requested.
- Record time and attendance via Human Resources Information Systems and Timekeeping system as applicable.
- Attend meetings/training/supervisions as requested/required.
- Model the organization's mission and values.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a High School or GED diploma is required with two or more years of clerical or customer service experience preferred.
- The Receptionist must demonstrate the ability to interact with staff, any of our guests, and clients in a pleasant, professional manner along with the ability to compose and formulate professional looking documents, letters, etc.
- The Receptionist must be able to use standard office equipment and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and balance receptionist responsibilities with clerical support.
