Assignments
- Work within a client-centered team framework to insure that clients are connected to services of choice; with emphasis on individualism, strengths and community involvement.
- Manage caseload of clients providing individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy sessions.
- Provide and oversee the provision of accurate, strength-based, and culturally competent assessments of clients within prescribed timeframes and throughout the client's service involvement.
- Provide supportive and follow up services as needed. This may include intervening directly to identify, prevent or deal with crisis situations, using crisis intervention techniques including de-escalation, conflict resolution, individual and group strategies.
- Produce participant driven, strengths-based plan for individual's treatment goals.
- Provide timely, accurate, and professionally written documentation of all service components within the EHR as per licensing regulations, contractual requirements and agency policies.
- Required to comply with all licensing regulations, contractual requirements, accreditation standards, and agency policies and procedures related to behavior, supports, documentation, and management.
General Assignments
- Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
- Attend meetings/training as requested/required
- Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Education, Counseling or Social Work.
- Substance use, mental health treatment and/or similar clinical experience a plus.
- Knowledge of the following areas is preferred; DSM-V, substance use, mental health, co-occurring, motivational interviewing.
- A valid driver's license along with access to a vehicle.
- Ability to main confidential information within HIPAA, regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Required Training
- With supervision, takes responsibility for own learning and professional development including required 25 hours of training per all licensing regulations.
