What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Famous Dave's?
Mixes serve and suggestively sell drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts in an outgoing, friendly and timely manner so as to “WOW” our guests. Adhere to company standards in regards to general restaurant cleanliness and safety procedures. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be considered for position.

Responsibilites:
- Mix and serve alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
- Greets guests, explain special signature items and explain menu in a clear and knowledgeable manner.
- Suggestively sells and upgrades drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert items by offering specifics and using descriptive mouth-watering adjectives.
- Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
- Understands and uses point of sale system to clock in/out and process/input orders.
- Observes guests, practices the two-bite/two minute check back to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Presents guest check to each table for every transaction and accepts a form of payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure in a timely manner.
- Practices teamwork and providing assistance to other tabes when necessary
- Understands the role of serving alcohol responsibly. Cards anyone who appears to be 30 years of age or younger. Monitors guests who are drinking alcohol using the traffic light system. Keeps the MOD informed of anyone who may be intoxicated or reaching the point of intoxication
