AIA Billing/ Accounts Receivable Support

We are looking for an AIA Billing/AR Support associate to join our credit team!

Key Responsibilities:

AIA Billing:

• Prepare and submit AIA G702/G703 billing documents in accordance with customer contract terms
• Work closely with sales, project managers, and customers to ensure all billing details are accurate and approved
• Monitor project billing schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submission
• Track lien waivers, retainage, and change orders as related to AIA documents
• Address and resolve billing discrepancies or customer questions promptly
  
  

Accounts Receivable (AR) Support:

• Assist in posting customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist in collections as needed
• Help maintain accurate customer account records and aging reports
• Provide backup coverage for AR team during absences or peak times
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proved experience with AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) required
• Knowledge of the construction or wholesale distribution industry preferred
• 2 years of experience in AR or related financial functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/ accounting software (E.g., Ecliplse, Quickbooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience in a plumbing, HVAC, or construction supply environment
• Familiarity with lien waivers, retainage tracking, and project billing cycles
