What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Famous Toastery?
Famous Toastery is looking for team members that know how to work together to deliver exceptional customer service and make us Famous. A busser with us works with the service staff to ensure guests’ tables are properly cleaned and flipped.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Removes dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils as needed.
- Brings dishes to the dishwashing station and sorts as needed.
- Replenishes items at service stations.
- Assists the serving staff with table setting by retrieving items needed for the table, i.e., silverware, napkins, syrup, butter.
- Cleans tables and resets place settings after guests leave.
- Cleans in the restaurant as needed.
- Delivers food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
- Answers questions guests may have while at the table.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to multi-task and follow directions.
- Reliable.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
