Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Reads invoices, customer orders, transfer or shipping orders and any other associated documents to determine items to be moved, shipped, processed, counted or turned over to customers, warehouse, etc.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving areas, warehouses, and display floors, etc., to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or inventory number.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, merchandise or other stock items and processes customer pick-up orders as necessary.
- Checks status through customer service department on status of pending service orders.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on shelves, trucks, pallets or customer service counters and ensures full customer services and support are completed as promptly and courteously as possible.
- Marks materials with identifying information, opens boxes, crates and other containers.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed for inventory control purposes.
- Counts items for distribution, transfer shipping and inventory control to ensure conformance to company standards and participates in periodic merchandise inventories as directed.
- Uses computer and Storis Software to process customer orders, merchandise transfers, inventory entries and other merchandise transactions as required.
- Attends required trainings when needed.
- Fills out paperwork needed for warehouse to pick up merchandise from location and deliver to customer.
- Maintains a clean and safe warehouse at store location as well as with store displays.
- Gather necessary documentation when customer pick up is done at store location.
- Assists manager, supervisors and other employees as directed.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
