The Role
Fanatics is seeking a Deductions Analyst to coordinate research and resolution of wholesale deductions, along with implementing improvements to reduce the overall in-flow of deductions.
What You'll Do :
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve deductions, specific to shortage claims, proof of delivery, pricing differences, damages, remaining balances, promotional allowances, and unknown chargebacks.
- Analyze and verify the validity of deductions by obtaining and reviewing documentation from customers to identify root causes.
- Dispute deduction timely back to customers, including in customer portals.
- Analyze and identify root causes of deductions and work with cross functional teams to reduce / eliminate recurring deductions.
- Act as a liaison between customer and internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, and Customer Service) to ensure timely clearing of chargebacks / deductions.
- Work closely with Collections team, holding weekly meetings to discuss accounts and obtain repayment of denied chargebacks.
- Provide detail reports to Account Managers and conduct monthly meetings to collaborate and identify best resolution improve wholesale deductions.
- Assist in creating detail reporting (weekly / monthly) to leadership and team members.
- Update and maintain customer tracking spreadsheets and documentation within MicroSoft D365
- Collaborate on testing project implementations and onboarding new lines of business.
- Able to problem solve, think independently, and be persistent in bringing issues to conclusion to dispute deductions timely in customer portals.
