About the role:
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an Assistant Manager, Athlete Partnerships to support the growing Athlete Partnerships team. This role will focus on coordinating UFC talent relationships, facilitating autograph fulfillment, and managing fighter gear procurement to support Topps’ UFC trading card program. The individual in this role will work closely with UFC athletes, agents, and internal teams to streamline signing logistics, optimize fulfillment timelines, and maintain strong relationships with UFC talent and their representatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the liaison between Fanatics Collectibles, UFC athletes (active and retired), agents, and UFC representatives to coordinate autograph fulfillment and fighter gear procurement.
- Assist in the execution of signing logistics, including shipment and return of trading cards and memorabilia, both domestically and internationally.
- Support on-site signing sessions at UFC events as needed, ensuring timely retrieval of autographs and memorabilia.
- Maintain tracking systems to monitor athlete participation, contract fulfillment, and procurement milestones.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, operations, and accounts payable, to facilitate efficient payment processing and timely fulfillment of commitments.
- Support the implementation and execution of special projects and programs directly with UFC and UFC fighters.
- Ensure communication of UFC autograph procurement developments and signing program updates to internal stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- 3 years of experience in athlete relations, sports marketing, talent management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with experience engaging with athletes, agents, or talent representatives.
- Ability to travel, including attending UFC events and supporting on-site logistics.
- Knowledge of trading card collectibles, UFC branding, and the sports collectibles industry is a plus.
- Experience with contracts, licensing agreements, or payment processing is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
