JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr. Operations Managers shape the Fanatics experience by being an athlete/fan advocate. Sr. Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing and fulfillment operations within Fanatics’ newest state-of-the-art site. The Sr. Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes are followed through managing production schedules, quality management systems, standard work instructions, and staff while implementing strategic initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and meet company goals. The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for engaging athletes in support of site operations that include multiple sub departments. The Sr. Operations Manager will inspire leaders and athletes to perform at an elevated level through effective communication, mentorship, and feedback. The Sr. Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with company objectives, including production capacity planning, process improvement initiatives, and technology upgrades.
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Lead quality control initiatives, ensuring product quality meets specifications and compliance that meets Fan expectation.
- Analyze production data to identify performance metrics, track key indicators, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage and develop a team of operations managers, supervisors, and production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and productivity across the production floor.
- Develop supervisors to expand their leadership skills and build team succession plans.
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling to optimize performance, including planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Optimize inbound, outbound, SWIP, raw materials and finished goods material flow processes progressing waste reduction.
- Manage adherence to safe workplace best practices.
- Communicates company standards and policies and initiative-taking corrective actions in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure compliance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Develop partnerships with existing leadership team and influence through earned trust and understanding to continuously improve performance and morale.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field
- 5-10 years of operations management experience in Manufacturing/Distribution/Fulfillment
- In-depth experience in managing manufacturing operations, preferably in senior operations management role.
- Proven record of successfully leading teams and achieving operational goals.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in collecting KPI data, implementing actions that drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with demonstrated experience utilizing 8D or 5Y problem disciplines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multitask.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Methodology or Continuous Improvement Disciplines such as 6S, 8 Forms of Waste, Kaizen.
- Expert Excel skills with abilities in data management, visualization, and automation.
- Strong aptitude working in ERP, WMS, MPS software systems.
- Effective communication skills (written, oral)
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus
- Six Sigma Greenbelt/Black Belt certification a plus
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
