Responsibilities
- Compliance Program Development:
- Oversee and improve an existing, comprehensive compliance programs tailored to the sports betting/iGaming industry.
- Continuously assess and enhance the program to address evolving regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure that the compliance program is effective, scalable, and integrated across all business functions.
- Own reporting to the FBG Compliance Committee
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance Leadership:
- Develop and execute risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and operational risks.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance controls and risk management processes.
- Gaming Regulatory:
- Develop policies, procedures, and controls to further the Company’s compliance with gaming regulations.
- Develop personal and team expertise on the rules that govern the Company’s products in the states where FBG operates.
- Strategic Compliance Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align compliance strategies with the company’s business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory changes and their impact on business operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are informed of compliance requirements and standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of compliance activities to internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- Oversee the documentation of compliance processes, procedures, and audit trails.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a compliance-related capacity.
- Proven track record of building and managing a compliance program in a highly regulated industry, preferably within gaming, financial services, or a related field.
- Extensive experience leading a team, with a deep understanding of risk management, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships with external regulators and navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and ability to master gaming laws and rules.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with regulators, senior executives, and other stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
Salary : $275,000 - $325,000
