Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food service operations. Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning floors, counters, and other surfaces as needed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests.
• Properly handle and store food items according to safety standards to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others in various capacities within the kitchen team.
