What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at FanDuel Sportsbook and Horse Racing?
Job Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring all team members are up to date with any and all training needs as required by the Illinois Gaming Board and Illinois Racing Board.
- Responsible for maintaining material ordering and needed supplies for day to day operations and special projects.
- Responsible for the vetting and onboarding of all vendors as well as the submittal of all maintenance contracts.
- Works closely with Facilities Director to ensure all expectations of workloads and productivity are met by Shift Managers and their teams.
- Ensures adequate staffing for maintenance duties and project completion through accurate manpower planning and projection of future requirements.
- Ensures all activities and job duties are performed per established company and departmental policies, procedures and goals.
- Hands on interaction with all team members and leadership during all shifts to ensure all expectations are met.
- Manages PTO requests and payroll for Facilities Department employees.
- Responsible for new team member orientation on the departmental policies, procedures and functional job duties.
- Fill in as directed for Director and Shift Managers as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must obtain and maintain a Illinois Gaming License & Illinois Racing License.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of facilities/maintenance experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing with Team Members, Shift Managers, and outside contacts
- Must also possess sound judgment, good organizational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Appropriate Gaming & Racing Board licensing
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Ability to be a TEAM player
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
