IT Manager

Essential Job Functions:

· Designs, specifies, configures, installs, and maintains local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.

· Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.

· Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network & the operation of various software programs.

· Negotiates contracts with and coordinates activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors.

· Installs and tests software upgrade.

· Develops and implements disaster recovery procedures.

· Consults with software and hardware vendors and other establishment workers to solve problems impeding computer processing

· Meets with IT Staff to determine impact of proposed changes in hardware or software on computer operations and service to users.

· Evaluates new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware.

· Evaluates proposed IT projects to assess adequacy of existing hardware, and recommends purchase of equipment.

· Develops budget and monitors expenditures.

· Approves changes in system access.

· Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent preferred

· Three or more years related experience

· Knowledge of database software required casino systems preferred

· Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays

· Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Physical and Mental Demands:

· Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel

· Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds

· Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor

· Exposure to high noise level

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
