As a valued colleague on our team, you will design moderately complex software and applications to ensure optimal performance of products, as well as test compatibility and performance of new technologies prior to production.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Single Family - Application Quality Analysis - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Assess business requirements and technical specifications for new projects.
- Recommend advanced testing methods and tools to be leveraged for projects.
- Design test plan and testing protocols for new technologies.
- Document development, coding, testing, and user acceptance for future reference and internal control purposes.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 2 years of related experience
- Skilled in SQL and Oracle
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 4-5 years of related experience in application quality analysis
- Skilled in using a scripting program, Shell Script and/or UNIX
- Java development & python knowledge is a plus
Skills
- Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Skilled in creating visual concepts, creating content, and editing content by hand or with the help with computer software to communicate ideas
- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Product Development skills including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
- Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
- Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
- Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
- Documentation and database reporting skills for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
- Business Insight skills including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
- Programming skills including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
- Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
- Influencing including skills negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Tools
- Skilled in SQL
- Experience using SharePoint
- Skilled in using Cucumber for supporting Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience using JIRA
- Skilled in using Shell Script to program commands
- Skilled in Java or Python
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Skilled in using UNIX and Shell Scripting
- Experience using APIs for developing or programming software
- Skilled in Oracle PL SQL
- Skilled in Visio
