What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealer position at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino?
Deals assigned card games according to CBCI/Fantasy Springs Casino rules and regulations. Ensures all wages are placed before cards are dealt. Computes payable odds for payable bets, pays winning bets and collects losing bets. Must maintain an entertaining and comfortable atmosphere while interacting with card players and co-workers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Exchanges paper currency for playing chips.
- Visually ensures that wagers are placed before cards are dealt.
- Shuffles and delivers playing cards according to established rules and procedures.
- Computes payable odds and commissions to pay winning bets.
- Pays winning bets and collects losing bets.
- Explains rules of games to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
Manages difficult or emotional customer situations and responds promptly to customer needs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age required
- Meets commitments and maintains confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities, contributes to building a positive team spirit. Supports everyone's efforts to success.
- The ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Previous work experience in Table Games as a Dealer. Dealer must be able to define color of chips, view/read the no peek devise and stand for at least 2 and a half hours
