Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within our restaurant. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and facilitate their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests with reservations and provide information about menu offerings and specials.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and preferences.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations and waitlists efficiently.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on guest relations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others create memorable experiences for guests.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services principles is beneficial.
