Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Far Rockaway Center in Far Rockaway, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Observe residents' physical and emotional needs
- Report any health issues or concerns to the supervising nurse
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, shaving, and grooming
- Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Maintain a clean and tidy living environment for residents
- Transport residents within the facility
- Prevent bedsores by regularly turning bedridden residents
- Ensure confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Current state certification as a CNA
- Good standing with the State Registry
