Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
Location: Far Rockaway, NY
Far Rockaway Center is hiring a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse.
- Provide personal care services, including bed baths, shavings, and other hygiene-related tasks.
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements as needed.
- Keep residents' spaces clean and tidy, making beds and ensuring proper laundry facilities are available.
- Transport residents within the facility with care and attention.
- Prevent bedsores by turning bedridden residents regularly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data at all times.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Availability to work every other weekend is required.
- Completion of a CNA program and current state certification are mandatory.
- Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
