Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the DNS with management responsibilities, including maintaining the quality of care and ensuring effective communication among nursing staff and residents
- Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds and ensure accurate completion of medical records
- Coordinate and direct total planning for nursing services, including infection control and meeting the medical needs of all residents
- Interview, hire, and orient new nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
Requirements
- Current State RN license required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Long-Term Care settings, with 2 years of management experience preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills and evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision are essential
- Flexible hours required
