Far Rockaway Center is a 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Far Rockaway, New York.

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings and a strong background in nursing management.
The ADON will assist the DNS with management responsibilities, maintain the quality of care, and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
Duties include assisting with compliance, meeting the medical needs of residents, and coordinating the staff education program.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for accurate and timely completion of medical records, interviewing and hiring new nursing staff, and maintaining infection control standards.
Requirements:
- Current State RN license required
- Min. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings
- 2 years of management experience preferred
- 1-year staff education experience preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills required
- Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
- Flexible hours required
