Far Shot Worcester is a recreational venue featuring axe, knife and archery. We aim to provide urban games with small-town hospitality. We'll teach you everything you need to know about Axe throwing, knife throwing and archery, you'll be certified to be an authentic, knowledgeable and exceptional coach. You'll become an ambassador of the Far Shot's exceptional hospitable service, providing a safe and fun environment for guests to learn a new skill. You'll take a leading role in our ranges; you must learn to take charge, entertain, instruct and party with your group! No coaching experience required, but you must have a drive and passion to want to learn and grow with the sports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to use a drill and lift 10lbs
- Promotes positive working environment through effective communication among associates and executives
- Positive attitude and energy
- Be able to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and available to work a flexible schedule including nights Monday - Saturday.
- Performs opening/closing duties as required
- Maintains a clean working environment and ensure the presentation of the facility is consistent with standard
- Is fully knowledgeable of products, games, and activities.
- Must be able to do basic math, to run games and tournaments for guests.
- Learn and develop a coach's eye for our urban games: Archery, Axe and Knife Throwing
- Being involved in Social Media to promote the Far Shot Brand.
- Be involved in the online community to grow the sport of Axe throwing
- Develop tournaments and leagues
- Manage a team of 2-5 coaches while on duty. Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed, help coaches develop their coach eye and run tournaments smoothly.
- Be presentable, have fun, help guests to have fun. Put on a good show and train others to do it too!
- Prioritize safety as number 1. Ensures all staff and guests are safe by strictly adhering to safety protocols and practices.
- Maintenance and repairs of targets and facility.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- Minimum 2-4 years of Retail / Restaurant/ Hospitality experience;
- Minimum 1-year management experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Able to do basic mental math.
- Proficient computer skills
