What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Faraci Lange, LLP?
Job Description
The Associate Attorney assists and works closely with the senior attorneys on their current caseloads. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Becoming familiar with all relevant facts, law, and clients of each case
- Maintaining action lists for each case, monitoring discovery, motion and other court deadlines and following up where appropriate or working with partner to ensure timely action is taken.
- Conducting legal and other research and preparing memos on topics researched
- Drafting pleadings
- Drafting memoranda of law
- Drafting and responding to discovery demands
- Drafting correspondence such as meet and confer emails/letter to opposing counsel, client update letters and demand letters
- Preparing motions and motion responses
- Assisting in preparing witnesses for depositions, defending depositions and eventually taking depositions
- Assisting in all aspects of trial preparation and acting as second chair at trials
- Interacting with and eventually negotiating with insurance adjusters
The Associate Attorney will begin to handle some cases as the lead attorney with support from the firm’s partners when appropriate and will also begin taking depositions, witnesses at trial and assuming greater responsibility for cases over time.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
