Responsibilities : As a Fabricator and Welder at Farber Specialty Vehicles, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of specialty vehicles. Your duties will include but are not limited to :
- Reading blueprint layouts and engineering drawings.
- Fabricating materials to specifications.
- Laying out and building assemblies, including generators, slide-out rooms, and hydraulic leveling jacks.
- Setting up welding equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. While manufacturing experience is a plus, it is not required. We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and abilities :

All vehicles are custom-designed by a team of electrical and mechanical engineers and manufactured to meet the customer’s unique needs. AutoCAD and SolidWorks computer-aided design software are used to design interiors as well as body shells. The factory includes the most up-to-date CNC, machine press, and HVAC equipment in the industry. FSV custom manufactures on many different platforms, including Freightliner, International, Ford, Prevost, and Sprinter.
