Farbest Foods is looking for an energetic, team player to fill our Production Supervisor position at our Huntingburg facility. This is a second shift position. Farbest Foods is one of the largest turkey companies in the United States and a respected leader in the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Problem solving and data analysis skills
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Previous Supervisory experienced preferred
- BS or BA degree preferred but not required

The Supervisor will perform tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
o Complete and file paperwork.
o Keep up with employee performance and offer feedback.
o Check and respond to email.
o Conduct employee performance evaluations at 2, 4, and 8 weeks.
o Fill out Leader Standard Checklist.
o Complete payroll.
o Check in on the safety, health, and well-being of employees in your department.
o Ensure employees are wearing required PPE.
o Maintain safety standards and processes.
o Maintain food safety protocols in the department.
o Communicate with Lead and Utilities.
o Maintain accurate staffing numbers.
o Walk through/monitor department.
o Check that machinery/equipment is running properly.
o Resolve employee issues or conflicts.
o Suggest or enforce changes.
o Attend meetings.
o Basic production scheduling.
o Conduct huddle meetings.
