Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Bakery Delivery Driver to ensure the smooth operation of our bakery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently transport and deliver bakery items to Fareway store locations
- Load products into and out of truck
- Ensure products stay safe during transportation and delivery
- Communicate with store personnel regarding bakery products being delivered
- Perform in-store bakery responsibilities including preparing bakery products, packing and labeling items for sale
- Record and report accurate inventory counts
- Provide outstanding customer service
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work Saturdays and mornings
- Valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions
- Pass background check and driving report
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to understand and follow maps and instructions
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands:
- On feet up to 8 hours per day
- Lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
- Frequently lift up to 40 pounds
Typical Equipment Used:
- Oven, proofer, bread slicer, knives, cooking equipment, scales
- Cardboard/plastic baler, dishwasher
Work Environment:
