We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Fareway Meat & Grocery. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our commercial heating and cooling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent system breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems of all types and sizes
- Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to track and manage maintenance tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial or storage type refrigeration settings
- Refrigeration schooling or certifications
- Experience in performing advanced HVAC diagnosis, maintenance, and repair
- ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL SKILLS:
- Able to perform electrical and mechanical tasks safely and effectively
Work Environment
- Exposed to varying temperatures depending on building
- Campus warehouses have a noisy and busy environment; employees must remain alert
