About the Role
This Bakery Delivery Driver position plays a vital role in supporting the success of our bakery operations. You will be responsible for delivering fresh products to our stores while performing various tasks within the stores.
Responsibilities
- Deliveries: Safely transport and deliver bakery items to Fareway store locations.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products from trucks while maintaining product quality and safety.
- In-Store Tasks: Perform various tasks within the stores, including preparing products and communicating with store personnel.
- Inventory Management: Accurately record and report inventory counts.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers and store personnel.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions
- Be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and mornings
- Have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Possess good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
