Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Prepare and display meat products in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Record and report accurate inventory counts to ensure timely ordering and minimize waste.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs, including carrying groceries to their vehicles and helping with loading.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to make informed recommendations to customers.
- Promote and sell Fareway Meat & Grocery's products and services to increase sales and revenue.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old or older.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and record inventory.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.
