Job Summary
The Fareway Meat & Grocery team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Product Specialist to join our retail meat department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our meat department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and answering questions about our meat products.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas daily to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Prepare and package meat products for display and sale.
- Restock shelves and ensure that inventory levels are accurate.
- Maintain digital logs of inventory counts and sales data.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred but not required.
- You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- You should have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
