Job Title: Warehouse Freezer Order Picker (Full-Time)
As a Freezer Warehouse Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of retail store orders. Your expertise in locating, selecting, and preparing products for shipment is vital to maintaining an efficient warehouse operation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate motorized pallet jack and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently during order fulfillment
- Pick cases (up to 50 pounds) from designated warehouse locations as indicated on an order sheet or via a headset; arrange items on a pallet and stage the pallet for loading
- Maintain productivity levels established by warehouse management
- Ensure work area remains clear of debris, spills, or unsanitary conditions to promote a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to work evening shifts (4:00 pm - 1:00 am)
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets
- Able to hear orders from a headset
- Proficiency in English language
- High attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments
- Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities
- Basic math skills required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Able to climb stairs, bend, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently
- Able to lift items over 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10-20 pounds continuously
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Freezer rooms with temperatures ranging from -20F to 0F
- Campus warehouses have a noisy and busy environment; employees must remain alert
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Work 40-45 hours per week (two schedules available: Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday)
- Starting wage: $22/hour (top wage: $25)
