JOB FUNCTION:
As an E-Commerce Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your expertise in processing and fulfilling online orders, ensuring accurate product selection and timely delivery to our customers, and leading staff members to ensure efficient and time-sensitive workflow from order receipt to customer pickup is essential in helping us maintain our reputation for exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritizing and supervising the work of our in-store fulfillment teams
- Ensuring all customer orders are filled accurately and efficiently within expected timelines
- Resolution of customer issues in a timely manner
- Helping create a weekly schedule for your team
- Training and overseeing the work of Online Shopping designated employees
- Communicating department standards, policies, and procedures to all employees
- Creating a culture of pride and continuous improvement
- Assist all customers in their shopping
- Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Must be able to work Saturdays and evenings
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work with others
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills are required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role including closing, leading stocking crew, and managing a department
- Computer proficiency; ability to use an Android smartphone, work with Google Docs, use email, and learn a computer-based system.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- On feet up to 8 hours per day
- Repetitive lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
- Frequently lift 0-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
