We are seeking a skilled and personable On-Call Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the flexibility to work events or shifts on an as-needed basis. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with many guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock bars as needed
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive, and responsive service to guests
- Assist with setting up and breaking down bar for events or shifts
- Stay informed about menu items, price changes, and venue events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a bar, restaurant, or event setting
- Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local law)
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bar techniques
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in alcohol service
Compensation:
